A little about me and the puffin.
What is this?
Kokomo is a hobby I tinker with in my spare time. I like words and puzzles, and I wanted a place to play games like these in Icelandic. That's about it.
Why is there a puffin on a tropical beach?
Yes, I know. Kokomo is named after an old song about an island in the sun, and the puffin is about as Icelandic as it gets. It just felt right somehow, so that's how it stayed.
A little about me
I'm Lilja. I can lose track of time over a crossword, I have a soft spot for old Icelandic words, and I've always needed to be making something. Kokomo grew out of that.
Accessibility
I want as many people as possible to be able to use the site. So there's both a light and a dark theme, and some of the games have a colourblind-friendly version. I keep adding to this, so let me know if there's something you need that isn't here.

A good deal of this was built with the help of AI. It's handy when you're doing it all on your own, but the Icelandic does come out a bit odd at times, rather as if it had been translated from English. I fix what I notice when I have the time. If you spot something funny, feel free to send it my way.
Everything's a work in progress
